Horrified, Storified

Two new storifies up regarding my Twitter yesterday:

“And I Feel Fine” is about the political, but not the technological, singularity. CIA is about to check the last thing off of its Halloween wishlist and it spells the end of any opposition to cheap labor, Permawar, corporate and military generated pollution, whatever it is that the multinationals want to keep on doing. The photo is a great example of Optimism Bias, aka waiting for Superman aka “He’s Not Coming, Lol.” (Right?).

“When They Fall” is showing just how quickly antiwar icons can be turned into tools of the military industrial complex. Includes what Monuments Men was about and a hilarious interaction between a famous folk singer and the robot brain of death. {Recall also Sting’s argument with Miles Copeland in Rolling Stone}.

And you can check out, from a year ago, “Insistence-is-Futile.” The story of how I called bullshit on ISIL before Tony Blair did. Note that the photo has apparently been debunked if you can trust McCain’s office at all. It still works symbolically regardless.
