Surveillance Abuse of the Thirteenth Kind

Remember this? Well, there’s been two studies since then. The first I’m ignoring because it basically said “we don’t know but everyone else was wrong and it’s not mass hysteria/delusion.”

The other, though.

Nora Gámez Torres, “Computer scientists may have solved the mystery behind the ‘sonic attacks’ in Cuba”, Miami Herald, 2 March 2018:

Professor Kevin Fu and members of the Security and Privacy Research Group at the University of Michigan say they have an explanation for what could have happened in Havana: two sources of ultrasound — such as listening devices — placed too close together could generate interference and provoke the intense sounds described by the victims.

This is especially interesting because as I’ve noted before, the legal definition of torture requires intent. Now, prove that spies or counter-intelligence agents, who are already operating under extreme secrecy and typically illegally albeit with approval from above did or did not intend to place two or more devices in close proximity in order to harass the surveillance target. It’s wrapped in so many iron boxes that it’s practically impossible to penetrate and even when you could, there’s the “Golly, gee, we didn’t do it on purpose, Beav” excuse.

Similar to Manning’s harassment/brainwashing being called medical or suicide watch, these agencies have a long history of skewing definitions, playing with words so that they can break the law while pretending its all okay under secret legal papers we can’t view in the first place to judge the legality much less the intent of the law as written.

Anyway, this is why I tweeted it with a note to the State, Justice and Defense Departments’ OIGs and the ACLU. Shall I hold my breath for any resulting OIG reports being made public? Probably just the part that talks about mistakes being made. The rest will be covered in black ink.

And as a bonus, one mo’ time…here’s a short fiction piece I wrote in September of 2013:

“In Plain Sight”

“…Guess what it does.”

It only took him three seconds to respond.

“Yep. Every time we listen in, we are also attacking the same target.”

“With what?”

“Variable sound that appears to be designed to annoy. Imagine a persistent, low-grade headache that won’t go away. The more we keep our eye on them–”

“The more irritated the target we watch becomes. The more violent. The more likely to do or say something suspicious.”

That’s because I didn’t need to be told. I just didn’t know precisely how it was done.

BBD – The Undead Bride

Ok, a bit melodramatic on the title. It’s actually not quite that bad…quite. And mostly it’s just weird.

I’ve broken up with, let’s call him the Black Rose, three times. Pretty much once a day since the post a bit down below.

Though he seems to recall the event, I mean events–all three of them–he doesn’t seem to be taking in what it means. And really, all three tines it was at least partially mutual. First, we aren’t compatible.

Of course I should take a moment and explain why I’m only partially available in the first place, but then those who have been following on the Tweeter probably already have a good idea as to why that is.

Anyway, back to the ground hog day “relationship,” we agreed via the phone to be friends and leave it at that. Since then, right back to we-never-never-broke-up-land. {See what I did there? I’ll bet you did.}

So I’m asking myself–understanding that, yes, somehow brainhacking is at work here, I mean if you look at the original post, he could do a lot better for what he’s looking for and a better match…he just doesn’t seem to want to.

So, again, I’m asking myself why this is happening. I mean apart from the obvious distraction and annoyances, why?

Can’t help recalling some of the weird scenes in Cable Guy. There’s a joke there in itself, but I can’t tell you what it is. Privacy only exists these days between the various victims of the Deep State, but we still need it.

But some of those scenes, like where the family can’t seem to understand why Broderick’s character is so disturbed and upset by Carrey’s character. And his friends, etc., except one {yes, readers of the fiction, it is the real world ‘Brian,’ who really does resemble the fictional Brian in so many ways those two chapters practically wrote themselves. But I digress. Again.}

In other words, it very much feels like they’re about to repeat the same bullshit that they did back in 2009: Loss of job, family, friends, and nigh unto homeless.

What can you do? Well, you can delay it. You can point out that you see that as one potential outcome of whatever ops they have planned. You can prepare.

But of course if CIA or one of those other effed up organizations really want you homeless and on the street, I assure you, they can do that. Pinky promise that they can. Your money can disintegrate under the weight of various lawsuits or sudden things you owe that you don’t even recall having purchased much less forgot to pay for. They will subtly and consistently convince your family, friends, co-workers that you are unstable. This is especially convincing because they can and will also make you unstable. That was the point of the LSD shit they pulled in the 50s and 60s.

So where does that leave us? More specifically, me?

“I don’t know. I’m just making this up as I go along.” Or something like that.

Too Good to Not Be Memorex

Imagine something close to your ideal lover in the physical sense. Then that sometimes they’re even pretty compatible personality-wise. Now imagine this person, much younger than you, has fallen for you.

You–if you’re me or someone like me–run through the possible scenarios. You analyze the odds, and once it becomes clear that this is highly unlikely–even given the person’s other shortcomings, hang ups, and problems–that this occurred naturally. You wonder what the endgame is.

Hell at some point you get bored with waiting for the rug to be pulled and you call it quits. Too much hassle, too much using, too many empty promises. You stop answering the calls and texts. Then quiet.

A few days later, after some quiet, you answer. You figure it’s best to me mature and spell it out simply and directly.

You get something you weren’t expecting. You get that they were in jail the past few days and they say it was the thought of you that kept them sane in there. They go clean for a few days. You know that probably won’t last, but it’s a pleasant few days.

Then, of course, fear of being dominated inside the slammer gets overtaken by hungry receptors in his brain. Excuses are made, he compromises with his getting clean and goes on a bender.

Then he indicates that if only you’d quit your job and do drugs…

Really not surprising, in fact was among the first probable scenarios you imagined. Except it took so damn long for them to get around to the point.

After all it was sort of implied last relationship, which for reasons I cannot yet write about, I have not written about. Besides, you wouldn’t believe that story anyway.

One also wonders, though I will pay for writing this, if PSYOP specialists aren’t among the most gullible people, if only because they think they’re the only ones playing. Lol.

In any case, you can see it’s gotten a lot more private and personal. Such is life in a corporafascist spook state.

New Tabs {Updated}

Conspiracy Theories. and Seymour Hersh’s NYT article on domestic spying from 1974.

Two New Wicked Game Chapters Plus

Updated Chapter 37 in a couple of ways, esp. adding in Eric McDavid. Also now with mo’ better grammar.

Added Chapter 38 and Chapter 39.

I cannot help thinking that, especially the release of Eric McDavid, might have made some impact two years ago. Now, I think it is probably too damn late. The country, as is France, is being conditioned to react fearfully and that breeds hatred and an inability to think rationally.

We are headed for something resembling a dystopic fascist state on a big chunck of the globe. I don’t think it can be denied.

Too late, people. Some of you really let me down, and therefore a whole lot of other folks. I suppose this is just for show anyway; more pretend.

Mos Def’ly Deep State Skullduggery {Updated}

Bout to represent in your whole atmosphere

The answer bloody well isn’t forty-two, it’s yes. Undoubtedly, unequivocally, unabashedly yes.

28 May 2014 update: Apparently the story picked up by the New York Daily News, Democracy Now, and others was false. Mos Def has not been blocked from entering the US. But do read this Salon article on why the rumor worked so well.

Salon, “Mos Def’s False Alarm: Why a Deplorable Internet Rumor Seemed So Credible,” Falguni A. Sheth, 27 May 2014:

The answer provides a lens into the current state of U.S. foreign policy: If it can drone its own child citizens for the sin of having a fundamentalist cleric for a father, why would it be so hard to believe that it would deny reentry to one of its own adult citizens?
Last year, Bey drew attention to the inhumane treatment of hunger strikers at Guantánamo Bay by attempting to undergo the same force-feeding procedures that have been imposed on them. Bey aborted the attempt almost immediately because of the intolerable pain and discomfort that he felt.

Maybe something about the US reminds him of that pain and discomfort. More at the link.

On the flip side of this portion, Apple has now bought the headphone business from Dre, so white people can also worry about what’s going through their ears and into their heads via Carlyle:

Guardian, “Apple buys Dr Dre’s Beats for $3bn as company returns to music industry,” Heidi Moore, 28 May 2014:

You know, Apple, one of several companies that the US intelligence community has direct access to your data on their servers and, as Edward Snowden noted this evening on “Defending Yourself and Deflecting From Government Abuse with Brian Williams,” any intelligence service in the world can gain access and control of any phone, any time. This includes the iPhone, of course, but I knew that back in 2010 when they did that to mine a few times.

First I’d like to thank the US government for inspiring this post. You know, “without whom…” etc.

Actor and rapper Mos Def is not allowed to enter the country due to some immigration issues:

Guardian, “Yasiin Bey, aka Mos Def, cancels US tour amid ‘legal’ wrangles,” Ben Beaumont-Thomas, 22 May 2014:

I’ll remind folks that this is likewise the status of Canadian scifi writer Peter Watts due to that which we refer to as Squidgate.

Good advice on Guide

The connection? The key to winning wars this century is controlling the narrative. From the old CIA manual on guerilla warfare:

This concept of guerilla warfare as a political war turns Psychological Operations into the factor that determines the results. The target, then, are the minds of the population, the entire population: Our troops, the enemy troops, and the civil population.

This is MOCKINGBIRD expanded to contain all forms of art and creativity as well as MSM, or as I prefer to refer to it, Wolf Blitzer’s Beard. It also goes to setups, covert ops, dirty tricks, intimidation, coercion, as opposed to simply hiring parrots like ONI Bob Woodward and potentially CIA Anderson Cooper.

Why is this such an important issue? As I’ve been reminding lately, Stratfor-, and therefore CIA-, connected disinformationist Alex Jones has been stirring up trouble. Interesting to note that on one hand, Jones slammed the Koran for anti-gay language {while failing to mention the same sort of language in the Old and New Testaments} and on the other called gay rights part of the New World Order conspiracy to control population. Curious, since loving couples who do not procreate but instead adopt strikes me as being more akin to something that would resemble God’s plan.

Mos is a supporter of 9/11 Truthers, which seems to me we should all support the truth regardless of our preconceived notions about what that is. He also opposed the continuance of Gitmo, torture, perpetual war, etc.

In a similar, dangerous, and of course nigh-to-unbelievable vein, Carlyle Group, umbrella under which Booz Allen and Booz Allen Hamilton subsist, two other defense/intel contractors, notable for having been invested in by the Bin Laden family and more recently the UAE, has invested $500 million in Dr. Dre’s headphones:

WaPo, “Carlyle Group jumps into music scene with $500 million investment in Dr. Dre headsets,” Thomas Heath, 27 September 2013:

The plunge into headphones is not the norm for Carlyle, most well-known for hiring ex-prime ministers and ex-presidents and buying and selling aerospace and defense firms.

But Carlyle has recently ventured into the consumer space, including buying Dunkin’ Donuts, Hertz, Mrs. Fields’ Cookies and NBTY vitamins.

For my notes on Congress’ 1984-themed surface-scratching regarding subliminal communications technology, start with part 1 here or click the tag at bottom of post.

See also various links at top especially MKULTRA subproject 119/Project Bizarre and FBI consulting with Russians on acoustic psycho-correction. This stuff more or less works, I’ve seen it work on other people, it’s worked on me to an extent, and I think it can and will work to an extent on anyone. That I am still here and not in prison means it isn’t perfect. But if you are completely unaware of it and foolish enough to think your corporate-controlled government and private contractors wouldn’t do it out of some kind of sense of decency, you are setting yourself up for big trouble.

Note that this does not mean that Dre knows what they are doing. This is highly technical stuff, not an issue with the headphones themselves but rather whatever signals they may be capable of carrying. Understand that any device capable of connecting to a network or the Internet has a unique MAC address. This means the intelligence community, Department of Defense, and/or some contractors can access a particular person’s device and piggyback subliminal data on it, essentially providing near-hypnotic suggestion without the listener ever being aware of it. Anger can be the result, as I’ve suggested may have happened with Barrett Brown, Ibrahim Todashev * , and myself in a Minneapolis grocery store during an encounter with a strange-behaving MPD officer.

Race war? Possible. At what point does danger potential trump looking silly asking such questions? What will it take to get us to the point that we take what our government and their private partners are doing with technology serious enough to be seriously concerned as well? There’s history. There’s some evidence in science journals and buried ledes in news we already have. What’s missing: a Snowden in this area of either usage or research.

Final comedic note, this was what I left a note under Dr. James Lin’s door about while I was in Chicago. Didn’t expect a reply. Lin worked on the Frey effect, microwave hearing effect extensively, though in recent years he’s stuck more to rounding up regular microwave and EMF research work from what I saw on his bookshelf.

Speaking of EMFs…

Would they? Yes. Can they? Apparently.

* Boston Globe, “Ibragim Todashev shooter had stormy record as officer: Boston agent who killed Tsarnaev friend was target of brutality suits with Oakland police,” Maria Sacchetti and Globe Staff, 14 May 2014:

McFarlane’s full name and birth date on records in Massachusetts and New Hampshire match that of the Oakland police officer who was involved in several controversies during his four years with that police force. He retired with a pension of more than $52,000 annually for the rest of his life.

In California, lawyers who had sued McFarlane in Oakland were stunned that the FBI later hired him.

“I would be shocked to learn that the Aaron McFarlane we sued a decade ago could have gone on to have a career with the FBI,” said Ian Kelley, a San Francisco lawyer who sued McFarlane on behalf of a man, Michael Cole, who accused McFarlane and another officer of beating him.

BBD – On the Trail of the Deep State Beast {Updated}

The primary purpose of this post is to relate what I learned from a local TI {that’s Organized Stalking talk for Targeted Individual} whom I met with today for lunch. The stranger portion, however, involves who else was at the table and picked up the tab. A man who went to the Bundy Ranch in order to defend it.
