Way Down We Go

It’s obligatory, isn’t it? I was going to go with a different title, but apparently Caitlin Sweet, et al, beat me to it, referring to the deserving portion. Instead you get a step away from that with a Kaleo lyric from a song containing a similar phrase.

ME, ME, ME

Let me get the personal crap out of the way first. The party that decided it would be fun to screw me over in 2010-2011 got their asses handed to them last night. Am I gloating? Only a little.

But then I’m not looking for housing in Canada {again}, planning mass protests, or even sharpening my hacker skills either.

WHAT HAPPENED?

I see three or four different issues here.

JOBS

A very quick but interesting rundown on manufacturing job losses in the US and where they occurred by Andrew Flowers over at Nate Silver’s FiveThiryEight. Note how well it matches the red you may have seen on your various e-screens last night. In 2008, Edwards was the only candidate talking about poverty. After he dropped out, there was no candidate talking about poverty. And, so, eight years later the working class gave Washington, DC the finger. I’d cheer except of course I see several problems with Trump bringing back manufacturing, assuming he even intends to do so.

Automation is one. Even if there were a manufacturing boom in the US in a few years, much of it would be automated. Sorry, Joe the Widget-Assembler.

Two, there would be the unattractive choices of either lowering minimum wage {which Trump has already suggested he wants to do} or raising pay so that people can buy whatever it is being manufactured. Of course, they could also reduce the requirements to get loans in order to afford the stuff. You know, what almost destroyed the world economy back in ’08.

This is a recipe for a second Great Depression. But don’t get too worried yet. I will explain how this is going to be President Pence anyway, with Trump sticking his head in every few months shouting at people and screwing things up until he disappears again to do whatever he can to build his fortune further.

GOP HILLARY HATE

The Republicans have done such a great job of painting Hillary as a radical liberal {she really, really isn’t even a moderate one} while joining her at bible study for decades and decades that they couldn’t pull it back…assuming they really wanted to. The Bushes may have publicly endorsed her, but I wonder who they really voted for in the booth.

I’m still hearing this ridiculous mantra. “Never-you-mind we’ve had solid pro-business running things since Carter. Trust us, they want to tax you to death. And we can’t steal your money as quickly if it goes to the gubberment first.”

THE DEMOCRATIC STRATEGY

The saying went, “Bill Clinton took a step to the right and the Republicans in Congress took three.” So the Dems decided to keep stepping to the right to watch the GOP fall off the cliff.

Except the working class didn’t give a shit about the rest of that. Didn’t care about Trump’s personal baggage. Didn’t care that he was a racist. DC failed working people. Here’s a guy talking negative about NAFTA. F— the Times and MSNBC, they aren’t helping either and are stuck on shit like who gets to use which bathroom while these non-working working people are struggling to pay bills. Maybe I should have gone with “It’s the Economy, Stupid.”

In essence, given the choice between a Republican in name and a Republican in policy only, they chose the former. The Democrats also abandoned the unions in order to move that far right. Turns out Wall Street does have immense influence over media but when people are pissed off enough they don’t listen to it. Wall Street provides cash, but it doesn’t actually vote. This fact should give us hope but look what we wound up with.

At the last moment, the Republicans fell to the ground and the Democrats were the ones who went over the cliff. This is what they get for abandoning people and embracing multinationals. They forgot where their strength came from.

AND FINALLY TRIBALISM

Read: Racism and xenophobia. Watts {see the first link up top} covered this. It is very likely in the genes and that makes sense if you think about human history. It would be nice if we started surviving via cooperation, but there’s those hardwired things in the head again.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN?

Right. The Republicans have control of it all for now. It will be the Pence-Ryan show. Repeal Obamacare. Maybe try to repeal or mess with gay marriage, we’ll see. More corporate welfare in the guise of creating jobs {again, multinationals make money by providing services while eliminating jobs and paying less for those that remain; they are the real enemy}.

Trump is going to find out, probably very, very rudely, that he isn’t in charge, not really. What will he do? Hard to say, probably have a meltdown.

The racism and poverty problems will be exacerbated. Trump will have his fingers in his ears and it won’t be him running the show anyway. There will be months of disconnect between what Trump says and what Pence is doing, providing much confusion.

Wars will continue and maybe we’ll even have new ones. In other words, the status quo.

The History of Slime, or, You’re Next, Sister

As noted below, this is mostly an expansion on the previous post, in this case magnifying power’s practice of demonizing groups for its own selfish ends. We really need to start considering the huge implications of 21st Century COINTELPRO, MHCHAOS and how, when these programs are active, things really are not often what they seem.

BACKGROUND – THE JEWISH CONSPIRACY

Probably the famous/infamous case of maligning an entire group of people is that of anti-Semitism. But where did the “Jewish conspiracy” originate?

From a forgery, a book called The Protocols of the Meetings of the Learned Elders of Zion, first printed in Russia in 1903. Henry Ford printed 500,000 copies in the US in the 1920s and Hitler made it standard in schools starting in 1933 despite having been exposed as a forgery in 1921.

Though anti-Semitism predated the book, it gave anti-Semite groups something to hold up as evidence of evil intent by Jews the world round. This sometimes persists even today.

BACKGROUND – MALIGNING AFRICAN AMERICANS

Though the FOX crowd loves to point out how long ago the Civil War was, etc. the problems associated with racial bigotry continued far later. The best example is, after WWII, both the Veterans Administration and Housing & Urban Development gave white veterans inexpensive housing. African American veterans were denied this and essentially sent to ghettos.

This is where two noxious myths came from. The first, whites pulling themselves up by their own bootstraps when it was really a social program. The other being that war is good for the middle class. It was, in that very narrow sense, only because the wealthy and corporations were taxed at would-blow-Bill-O’Reilly’s-mind levels. This was not just a result of paying down the war debt, but was widely accepted as a way of preventing another Great Depression.

The irony here can be found in both myths. The anti-reparations crowd really doesn’t get that they have benefited from white “reparations” after WWII. The pro-war crowd has disconnected itself from taxation and redistribution of wealth downwards in order to maintain a healthy society.

It only gets worse from there. The reporting of the late Gary Webb, though often maligned also as saying something he didn’t, that is it was an act of racism as well as greed, was probably accurate. We can see the same where Afghanistan and Honduras are concerned. Stealing the heroin from Russia and then increasing the output while running death squads and maintaining military bases after ousting Zelaya makes that pretty clear. Lest you think this is all about the US, it isn’t. Investors in Honduras infrastructure include China, Japan, the UK, and some EU countries.

Given all that, it seems not only likely that it was more kicking of the poor while they’re down, but also much, much larger and systematic than when Webb reported on it. We are not only the real power behind the big drug cartels, we also coddle international banks who launder their money and fund terrorism. This is why so many stories about the minutiae are for many purposes a waste of time to write and read. If you cannot see the big picture, what’s the point of arguing about one or two of a thousand symptoms of the same disease that is power and its tendency to abuse?

This is all about power; not party or philosophy. Purely mercenary and selfish, it is foolhardy to look for power figures who oppose what they clearly all support.

For example, though the Clintons like to brag about getting 1 million people off of welfare, there are several things that do not really indicate that this was necessarily a good thing. Where do the people who cannot eat and cannot find a job wind up? Automation, outsourcing overseas, and productivity, AKA overworking people, mean that there aren’t enough jobs to go around, and due to higher demand, don’t pay enough to rescue the economy from itself.

Then there is support from the private prison industry for Hillary right now. We are the most imprisoned country per capita on the planet. Is it any wonder when there is money to be made that this happened?

The system itself creates situations where the choices are bad and worse. And so lots of people wind up circling the drain and getting labeled as “Superpredators,” a term Hillary Clinton herself used referring to African American teens.

Then you have Barack Obama who, as I stated in the previous post–and this one is really a continuation of that one–released 600 prisoners and didn’t even make a dent in the statistics. We incarcerate more than that in a day.

Identity politics, though less offensive than Trump’s blatant racist remarks or Cruz’ friends’ calls for internment camps for atheists, is in effect the same without the insult added to the injury. At least on the larger scale; I’m quite certain that there are those who work for them engage in the same kind of bigoted language. The assumption that because candidate X is this or that means that they will favor this or that is a false one.

Trump’s comments serve to draw voters to Hillary and drive voters to the GOP at the same time. Dividing us is the goal here, lest half of us show up in the Financial District in Manhattan, the other half on the Mall in DC, demanding a new New Deal.

BACKGROUND – ISLAMOPHOBIA

Horrific education, a favorite thing to get cannibalized in order to shove money instead to places where it seems to wind up in the pockets of politicians, bureaucrats, bankers and brokers, has lead to an unbelievably ignorant public. Most don’t know the simplest things about Islam. How much worse when they don’t even get reminded where Al Qaeda and the Taliban came from?

Surveys also show that people who do not know any Muslims personally are more likely to think they are all violent and prone to terrorism. We can call this the ‘boogeyman’ effect and leave it there, I suppose. In war, and this is a war of a kind, more financial than cultural despite what you would read in right- and leftwing leaning outlets alike, demonizing the other side is part of it. This is where most of it comes from.

But, there is a problem. Though the most recent big news attack {as far as I know, I’m busy writing this right now}, the one in San Bernardino, did involve a couple who were Muslim. And despite stories like this one, where the real motive may have been to rob a train {something so-called fiscal conservatives and war hawks alike can understand and get behind: Piracy}, it’s the meme, the image that sticks with most people. Think of it this way:

“News said another shooting was done by a Muslim or a black. Lesson: Avoid Muslims and blacks.”

We are a pattern-matching-for-survival species, and that is what happens in the heads of many people. The nuances, the root problems, the specifics, don’t matter to them. Simpler to avoid and either allow, or push, leaders to spy on all these people and limit their freedoms. Never mind the specifics indicate that it doesn’t help, that these WASPs are also included in these dragnets, and that the potential for financial, personal and political abuse is not only likely but already reported on in some instances.

THE POINT – ADDING LGBTQA TO THE HITLIST

While my story is complicated in many ways, the bottom line is they hoped, and still hope, to push me to violence in order to both silence me on being a witness to illegal activities and to start building the same kind of “forgery” that implicates gays in the same way that they have done to African Americans and Muslims. That’s it.

And despite what you might see on the cover of OUT magazine’s anniversary issue {could you imagine putting Reagan, who appointed one SSM justice, or Cheney, who supported SSM before Obama and Clinton, on that cover?}, Barack Obama and the people who work for him were all on board with that. Clearly. It is impossible that it could be otherwise. See either Wicked Game or my IAMA on Reddit for more on that.

This is why I say we cannot afford to elect another Republican {nor stealth-GOP Libertarians} nor Democrat {nor “Independent” Bernie Sanders who counts FBI and CIA, with two of the worst civil and human rights records in US history as social programs} to be elected.

That leaves Green Party for me. As far as voting goes, the only hope I see–and it will not be a panacea by any means–is to get third parties their 10% of the vote in order to start breaking the stranglehold that the two thoroughly corrupt parties and their false choices present.

The political spectrum looks like this:

+++G+++Ctr+++++DR

Where, wedged just between the D and R, is Hitler. They’ve so filled our heads with left-dread, that we now see anything near the center, much less to the left of it and less far than these two are to the very far right, as some terrifying thing that must be avoided.

I’m terrified now, aren’t you? And they’ve had it all for a long time. We can do better, but only if we get desperate enough to stop choosing the lesser perceived weasel.

Deep State, Deep Shit: The US’ Cold War at Home

PREFACE – Who am I addressing?

Some folks may wonder why I don’t spend more time and energy talking at or railing about the Republican party. It is because I think they are utterly unreachable, so far gone off the cliff that there is no hope whatsoever of reasoning with or instilling reason into their leadership.

For example, the GOP, and it’s sometimes controlled/sometimes renegade splinter group the Tea Party, spend a lot of time railing about the strawman “Sharia law” being enacted on US soil. While being an incredibly stupid thing to believe on the one hand, it seems pretty clear that people like Ted Cruz want something exactly like that, or more accurately, what the House of Saud has: a theocratic monarchy in which everything and everyone is “owned” by the monarchs. This is called Dominionism in the US, and is some Zionish perversion of Christianity. Cruz literally thinks it is his destiny to become King of America. God wants him to steal all your shit. It is precisely what they spend so much time railing against “over there” that they typically want to do here.

And Trump has helped to bring their blatant disregard for human beings out into the open. Nothing stealth about it anymore.

Related to the anti-LGBT and anti-women’s choice, one can imagine horrifying scenarios in which corporate mercenaries round up people our new self-appointed Second Coming deems deserving of that. It makes for a great “scarrative.”

But…

But the Democrats and Barack Obama signed off on the NDAA that allows DoD to hold indefinitely without evidence or legal procedures anyone, including US citizens, on suspicion of terrorism. The historical track record of such legislation always goes one way: More abuse than actual security.

But also…

Note how the end result is the same, but the packaging is different. Do you see that? The Democrats won’t publicly call you faggot or baby-murderer, and may not even be that discerning about who they lock up. But your odds of being caught up in the dragnets that insane politicians and bureaucrats, along with their friends in the public sector, deem needing locking up, will be locked up.

And at the same time…

The rhetoric of the Democrats is different. The policies are not in that they all seek to cheapen human life and rights for personal financial and power gain.

EXAMPLES

Robert L. Dear, Jr.

The New York Times has mostly surprised me, and Washington Post has somewhat followed up on Dear’s background. He does, actually, seem to be the Joe Dirt version of Ted Cruz. Seems to be, anyway. I assume this requires little explanation. Dear on the one hand frequently used religion as a weapon and as a defense for his actions. He had many online indicators of this over the years.

Richard Fausset, “For Robert Dear, Religion and Rage Before Planned Parenthood Attack,” New York Times, 1 December 2015:

nytimes.com/2015/12/02/us/robert-dear-planned-parenthood-shooting.html

But “the Left…”

First we had the interrupted planned attack at the University of Chicago. In this case, it was an African American who was upset about the murder of one or more African American teens. Understandably upset, but, had he succeeded, would merely have worked against, not for, what he hoped to achieve. At least I think so.

Michelle Broder Van Dyke and Tasneem Nashrulla, “Man Allegedly Threatened To “Execute” White Students At University Of Chicago: In an online threat that prompted the university to close on Monday, federal prosecutors allege the 21-year-old suspect also threatened to kill “any number of white policemen” who responded,” BuzzFeed, 29 November 2015:

buzzfeed.com/mbvd/university-of-chicago-cancels-classes-in-response-to-fbi-war

Second…now please stop reacting emotionally for a moment, hold the kneejerk outrage, and ONLY consider what this story implies to your average white person lacking critical thinking skills.

Joanna Walters, “Fetal abduction: brutal attacks against expectant mothers on the rise in US: Experts fear easy access to news and information online has contributed to rise of the crime, in which perpetrators seek to claim others’ fetuses as their own,” Guardian, 2 December 2015:

theguardian.com/us-news/2015/dec/02/fetal-abduction-attacks-expectant-mothers

What are the memes? The images one is left with? And what effect could that have on people on the fence? Do people generally go by statistics, or anecdotal evidence when making decisions?

I think it is obvious. If you are trying to win hearts and minds about reproductive rights or refuting Trump’s black-on-black crime statements, this story also does not help.

NOW FOR THE REALLY HARD PART

What if I told you–open mind, please–any of those three stories above could have been due to pushing people who already had similar beliefs, but not necessarily to the point that they would act on them in these violent ways–over the edge? You probably are turning me off right now. You are probably assuming it is not possible, that this suggestion is crazy.

Hold the phone, please. Research is showing that, for example, when we are distracted, words like “bye-bye” can actually result in more “buy-buy.” Yeah. When we are not alert to what is going into our heads, stuff can get in there that we would just as soon did not when we get our bank or credit card statement.

Derick F. Davis and Paul M. Herr, “When bye bye becomes buy buy: How homophones affect consumer behavior,” ScienceDaily, 20 November 2013:

sciencedaily.com/releases/2013/11/131120081102.htm

How much more so then, when we aren’t even aware–despite it being confirmed by both the Federation of American Scientists and the Department of Defense–that has been possible for decades to send subliminal messages in one direction, from the device to a human being, without the need for implants or any of that typical “tinfoil hat” stuff. It’s right there, in print, in FOIA.

It’s actually not that complicated and might just be this simple:

https://mccoyote.wordpress.com/v2k/

And DoD clearly reacted to growing pressure and knowledge that this technology and underlying scientific principle {simply put, the Frey effect}, exists and works. They took down the V2K definition from their website and later issued two info memos on the same day circumventing accountability for abuse in both.

Step back. Step outside yourself. Look at the larger picture. What is the result of these three stories?

Voting for Hillary or Cruz. Radicalizing the parties and mobilizing the respective bases in order to ensure these two very similar choices appear lightyears distant from each other, even though they both serve big banks and other multinationals.

You can even disregard–but do so at you peril–the possibility that covert operations were involved in any of those three stories and still see that these kinds of stories get exploited by political opportunists. The implied message is that they really care about the underlying issues when, in reality, it is far more clear that they care more about helping themselves and their rich and powerful pals at the expense of everyone else.

Is the end of mass incarceration, especially as related to the private prison system and for-profit subcontractors, anywhere in sight? Obama recently released 600 prisoners. The very next day, in my small county alone, they arrested 50+ people in drug raids. It gives the appearance of Democrats fighting back again the crappy drug war and the Republican image of cleaning up the communities, when it is really all about exploiting people, people driven to extremes just to avoid debtor’s prison, home repossessions, and things like bankruptcy due to medical bills.

The older example, again. The Ground Zero Mosque traced back to the CIA and FBI. Thought the reporter considers this a GOP operation, I rather see it as both GOP and DNC. Antiwar people, like myself–and I worked on the project briefly in late 2009–would also likely be mobilized to fight for the group’s right to build it. But it was really about 2008 and 2010 elections, not the issue that it appeared to be. It was there to manipulate people, not help one single goddamn thing.

Matthew Phelan, “The Ground Zero Mosque Was an Inside Job,” Gawker, 11 September 2014:

blackbag.gawker.com/the-ground-zero-mosque-was-an-inside-job-1633321283

And that is what politics here have come to. Professional wrestling or football, where no matter who “wins,” the rest of us all lose.

NO ONE ELSE TO SAY IT, WISH THERE WERE

I know. I know because both of these shit parties wanted to add LGBTQ to the hitlist, the watchlist, the “of course they’re terrorists” list by harassing me and ruining my life permanently. The advantages, if you can calm down and think like the psychopaths who think up these plots, are obvious. You can pick off minorities, drive a wedge between them and the general WASP public, as they have largely succeeded in doing with African Americans and Muslims; and, you get to add more justification to your security/spying contracts by writing thinktank white papers making the case for LGBTQetc as security threat by citing instances where you secretly caused the terror attacks you are now citing. Kind of like Dick Cheney quoting himself via Judith Miller except the attacks were “real,” they were just surreptitiously provoked.

What are you to do? Write my {GOP} reps and say, “Hi, I’m gay. Could you help me?” Did it anyway, but that party doesn’t see much interested in civil liberties. Had to find out the same was true with Democrats the hard way.

IN CLOSING

I know rightwing terrorists are far more prevalent than leftwing. I am living, in so far as I can still call myself alive, proof of that. That’s not the point.

The point is that Democrats are just as likely to pull the rug out from under you as Republicans are, all the while smiling in your face and talking a good game for which they don’t lift a solitary goddam finger.

Simply put, we need to focus on ending this Cold War, let the dust settle, to see where things really stand. Our domestic “intelligence assessments” are muddled due to big money, liars, and, yes, covert operations designed to sway public opinion. Isn’t that the umbrella under which all these other problems stand?

Psychopaths who know us better than we know ourselves can manipulate us. Mass surveillance is one part of that and why we should not consider voting for anyone who supports it.

BBD – STUXNET Used Domestically? {Updated}

{Author’s note: Find that using this background method, even when really terse, works better. Otherwise, it’s like stating in media res every time. While you might assume you’re looking at some freak accident or coincidence below, there are dozens more I’ve witnessed, making such an idea preposterous if you were there for all of it.}

******

BACKGROUND – THE PLAYERS

It’s like being given the choice to die in Westworld or Futureworld. You can be a poor, bathtub gin drinking, dirt-eating c——-er who has to please the Man Who Lives in the Big Mansion on the Hill lest you lose what little you have to his hired guns; or, you can be a frightened, silenced cog in a dystopic machine that builds neo-pyramids to multinational corporate ‘gods’ regarding whom you must fear even thinking bad thoughts about or be disappeared by shadowy figures neither completely government nor wholly corporate.

Who would you side with? The Penguin or Lex Luthor?

The Kochs

Do I really need to link it all up? Yes, greedy thieves who steal from Native American tribes. Yes, powerful and influential enough to cause federal government shutdowns threatening to cut people off from even being able to eat. Opposed to any and all social programs and controls on industry of any sort. Additionally, their lobbying shows that they have some connection to defense and/or the intelligence community but I’ve yet to learn what that is. They also allegedly did business with Iran, just as Hewlett-Packard under Fiorina had done, Halliburton under Cheney with Iraq and all when it was technically illegal to do so.

The Dems

Let’s look at what will be Obama’s legacy, shall we? Basically, not counting laughable complete bullshit stories like ending the wars, I think there are two things that Obambots will be able to call accomplishments as long as you don’t look to closely.

The first, of course, healthcare reform. The latest rumor, which really makes complete sense once you start reading articles about the Trans-Pacific Partnership and related secret legislation, is that it was enacted to prevent single payer healthcare reform. This fits in better with, for example, everything we know about Eric Holder. Really, Obama has surrounded himself with criminals and we can deduce what from that?

The other is of course the repealing of Don’t-Ask-Don’t-Tell. Hey, I thought it was a good idea at the time as well. But all it really means is that if you’re LGBT, you, too, can pilot a flying death robot aimed at brown people in order to steal their natural resources. Similar with gay marriage {and if you look at the facts, the Republicans and Democrats have about the same record; one of the judges who voted in favor was appointed by Reagan and even Dick Cheney came out in favor before Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama did}: Gay marriage good for LGBT, economy; Corporate Fascist Dystopia bad for everyone except tippy-top elite.

Even if he does manage to close the prison at Gitmo, it will just mean operations have been moved, shifted to some other set of methods, new black sites. This is a shell game that only cares about appearances not truth.

In other words, Obama and the Democrats don’t actually have anything positive to show the 99% during his tenure. At all. His war on whistleblowers and HRC’s clear intentions to continue it, means that there will be no positive change, not without something resembling civil war, and, well, they’ll kill lots and lots Americans before they consider renegotiating a New New Deal.

Conclusion

They both suck.

BACKGROUND – THE JOB

I wound up getting what was essentially the Squidgate juror’s old job as an outside contractor at a paper mill plant when I lived in Michigan. I started in September of 2012 and went through orientation and drug screening with a young African-American man, single father of one. I discovered some months later that Koch had been one of the previous owners of the plant.

In February of 2013, I got a call asking if I could cover part of a shift, one day a week for 4.5 hours each Friday. I checked with the supervisors, we worked it out, done deal.

The young man I had gone through orientation with had apparently gone insane. He didn’t show up for work, said he had a flat tire, said that ‘they’ had tried to kill him on the Interstate, and that they had already killed his aunt there. There was a story about a white woman killed on the Interstate around that time, but as far as anyone could tell, he was not related to her.

Some time in March I figured out that Koch owned this second site, a plastic plant, I was working at. I knew this probably meant I had to watch my step and I did so.

I also discovered that a woman whose job it was to deal with environmental compliance keeled over and died suddenly during a meeting in 2012. Her daughter showed up one day while I was working and I asked the next time I saw the other guard and got the scoop. Apparently a blood clot in her lung or similar, was what the coroner said caused it.

My access to the plant was limited to the front gate, offices, a workshop, and part of the control building. Regarding this latter area, depending on how many people were still inside, I sometimes delivered a list to the folks working there who were doing their shiftchange around the time I got off work.

There was a computer on my desk at the gate but I’ve no idea if the plant’s machinery was on the local network. I don’t think that it was.

By August of 2013, I was looking for some way out. While I’d hardly qualify as a member of ELF, I didn’t feel right about contributing to carbon-death either. I found a reason to go to Chicago, and so I resigned.

A few nights later, after my shift ended, there was a fire at the paper mill. It was FUBAR on several levels, but there were no casualties. It did result in someone else being dismissed from working there, the person they hoped to replace me with, which meant they had to fill my slot twice.

Then, just before my final days, this happened at the Koch plant.

BACKGROUND – CYBERWAR AND STUXNET

Watched this NOVA show a few nights back. Must note that Google and a Koch foundation are among those who fund NOVA.

There’s a portion of the show where they cover the STUXNET virus. As you may recall, it was used to slow down Iran on purifying nuclear material by causing their machines to over-exert and destroy themselves by targeting a part commonly used in manufacturing called a PLC {see below}. Some time later it was, I think, fairly well established, that the US and Israel were behind STUXNET.

STUXNET USED DOMESTICALLY?

And the point at last. What really caught my attention in the show, because of the problem at the Koch plastic plant, was Kim Zetter’s comment:

[Programmable Logic Controllers] are used in chemical plants, they control the recipe that gets put into drugs and chemicals.

*

Again, what happened at the plant was during the government shutdown in the Fall of 2013. The reactor, where the chemicals are mixed, usually yielding a liquid that is sent to another area of the plant, became filled with solid plastic. They had to shut down and have people chisel it out before work could resume.

CONCLUSION

And, again, I had nothing to do with what happened. Why in the hell would I help a government who purposely, viciously, knowingly not only ruined my life permanently but also did so in the hopes that I would go ‘postal’ so that they could sell the idea the LGBT people are more prone to terrorism, adding yet another {notice the pattern here} minority to the ‘list’ of minorities that authority figures sometimes quietly, sometimes openly, accuse of being the ‘bad guys’ ? Not gonna happen, not interested in increasing NATSEC’s market share which is already targeting Muslims, African-Americans and even veterans. Cannot stand these people and consider them to be the worst combination of serial killer, pedophile, genocidal war criminal, radicalized suicide bomber, Spanish Inquisitor, psychotic Nazi human experimenting scientist, parasite, embezzling banker, global drug cartel, dirty cop, and used car salesman that you can imagine.

And who keep throwing me out there as the patsy for things that they’ve done. Same thing in New York when, I think stands to reason, CIA and NSA were spying on my clients and other tenants in the building; they could throw someone to the dogs as phony HUMINT cover for what was most likely and mostly their combined ELINT. And the purpose of the spying almost certainly more to do with insider trading than national security.

This is evil all around and I hate using that word. But what else can you call extreme selfishness, which is exactly what this is, what these people are? I’ll close with a cheesy pointless poem.

No love for Koch;
No love for CIA;
Stuck in a world with both
O me-oh, my-oh, hey.

* {Sidenote for future reference: also relates to automobiles being remote controlled. # Michael Hastings}

Updates: Multiple clarifying, correcting dates and numbers {4.5 hours a week, not 6} as I find physical evidence in my possession, etc. Also added a paragraph on the strange death of a woman in 2012 who worked at the plastic plant.

From a direct deposit paycheck stub:

Added Gitmo paragraph.

Terms: Ghosting

There’s a new definition, a new trend, given the label “ghosting.” Before we get into that, I wanted to first lay out some of the other definitions.

First, there’s a form of identity theft wherein the thief takes on the identity of a deceased person. In the pre-9/11 days, this typically consisted of requesting the birth certificate of a dead person with a birth date close to the thief’s real one so that the new identity would be plausible. The way the paperwork filing worked, birth certificates were traditionally kept separate from death certificates, so the supplying municipality would not even necessarily know that they were supplying a dead person’s proof of birth.

Another definition is when law enforcement “misplaces” a person in custody. They move them around, leaving them in bureaucratic limbo, in order to hold them longer than they would be allowed normally for any number of reasons. The Muslim groups one often saw on the streets of New York City selling books and speaking through megaphones were allegeldy ghosted in this manner on 9/11. The excuse given was that it was for their own protection.

Still other definitions relate to video and photography, with various intended and unintended artifacts appearing on the media.

The most recent, newish trend being discussed is breaking up by ignoring the other party’s phone calls/messages and texts. This is usually discussed in terms of Hollywood and other celebrities, but certainly the behavior is nothing new.

Finally, the definition most appropriate for this blog involves a form of harassment. It is the moving, temporarily hiding or rearranging property. In some cases I’ve also been told that items can be sabotaged. New batteries run out of juice the same or next day. Water bottles have holes in the bottom. All the way up to financially debilitating home and auto problems.

The primary purpose seems to be to make the target appear to be mentally ill, from what I can tell from comparing stories from TIs. The typical scenario involves the inability to locate some object that is important to the target. After perhaps telling others in the home/at the workplace, perhaps even attempting to get their help in locating the object, it suddenly reappears, usually in an obvious place. The target recalls searching that location and those around the target think, “Yeah, sure,” and their confidence in the target’s reliability/sanity is shaken.

It works as one step in the process of isolating the target, who is likewise attempting to try to imagine what happened based on their experience, which only naturally includes wondering if the people they share the home/workplace with are responsible.

Ghosting is just one of many harassment categories and other kinds are typically employed at the same time or close on the heels of others. Combined with the surreptitious administration of drugs, the target rarely avoids the intended effects for long.

Let’s Scare Joe Public to Death

{This is not, actually, about the heightened awareness and mass news media cycle for the weekend regarding potential ISIS attacks during the 4th of July celebration. I think that speaks for itself even if people we armed and tried to leverage into taking out Assad in Syria do manage to pull something off.}

Really didn’t expect to do a second piece on the previous post, but it occurred to me today that there may be other psychiatric phenomena reverse engineered for the so-called intelligence community.

While I don’t have an answer to the more complex and dramatic uses of placebos such as one alleged in the New York Times in the 1990s regarding a cancer patient whose tumors reportedly melted away until he was told only water had been injected into him, at which point they returned and he died. But the idea that attitude has physiological effects is not a new one. Modern medicine has gotten on board–to an extent–with “faith healing”:

Ted J. Kaptchuk and Franklin G. Miller, “Placebo Effects in Medicine,” New England Journal of Medicine, 373:8-9, 2 July 2015, DOI 10.1056/NEJMp1504023:

nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMp1504023?query=TOC&

What may be the point in “reverse engineering” placebos? Assassination a la ‘voodoo’ simply by convincing the target that they are dying or ill. Once again the 1955 draft MKLUTRA memorandum from the 1977 Senate report comes into play. Item #5:

5. Materials which will produce the signs and symptoms of recognized diseases in a reversible way so that they may be used for malingering, etc.

Also see a related section of the report itself on CI interrogations:

Although no studies are known to have been made of the placebo phenomenon as applied to narco-interrogation, it seems reasonable that when a subject’s sense of guilt interferes with productive interrogation, a placebo for pseudo-narcosis could have the effect of absolving him of the responsibility for his acts and thus clear the way for free communication.

While this latter quote does not indicate use for killing, it’s not really a bridge too far to expect that was later considered. This is in fact sometimes how one project lead to another, with a result prompting more ideas.

Item 5 is perhaps not just about bankrupting a target, turning them into a hypochondriac, or simply wasting their time and energy worrying. Taken to the extreme, you can make a difference on their lifespan. Think of a bullet that takes months or years to arrive at its target but carefully and methodically gets a gentle push to ensure that it eventually arrives. When the target eventually succumbs to whatever it is they develop from loss of sleep, stress, worry, and psychosomatic symptoms {think of a hysterical pregnancy but giving birth instead to tumors}, it appears that it was just nature taking its course. The broken, bloated, and ever-tax-dollar-guzzling intelligence apparatus, corporation or political organization responsible never even enters into the minds of the public, investigators, medical examiners, etc. Perhaps to enhance this, other substances may be used, such as whatever item 6 was referring to:

6. Materials which will render the induction of hypnosis easier or otherwise enhance its usefulness.

Substitute “hypnosis” for “suggestion” and you can achieve this via PSYOP.

Discomfort is the central and most common complaint from so-called targeted individuals of organized stalking. There was even a mailing list where a target was sort of live-emailing his or her imminent demise. I doubt that they actually died, rather were too embarrassed to re-appear for some time to admit they hadn’t, but the person really seemed to believe that it was happening. Bodily pains and one’s head not feeling right represent the bulk of complaints in general from what I have read and been told.

The ability to inflict pain from remotely and anonymously is not science fiction. Neither is the long-standing interest in drugs that alter perception and make a person seem–if not indeed be–mentally ill.

There should be an axiom regarding capability and occurrence, but I’m not aware of one. Let’s consider it a work in progress:

If a thing is possible, someone, somewhere, is doing it.

The intelligence community’s sometime interest in the occult becomes clearer, beyond the study of drugs used in rituals and simple cover stories. It’s our own decency and belief in law, rights, and limits that prevent us seeing what some of the darker corners of our system are capable of.

And a bonus idea. As noted in Wicked Game, there was one MKULTRA subproject {#109} dealing with “pharmacological age.” As noted there, they may have been searching for the “fountain of youth” and instead discovered a way to, for example, enhance the likelihood that a UN weapons inspector might engage in things that would get him into legal trouble.

However, on top of that, we have a legal system where {for now anyway} adolescent and child criminal records get sealed. The reasoning behind this is that the young are not able to make decisions the same way that adults are. Using the brain apparently takes practice.

What if that, too, could be altered? What if you could take a 45 year old man and reduce his thinking to that of a fifteen year old? You could greatly increase the likelihood of committing a crime, if you wanted to entrap him. And, as we now know, that’s sometimes how people are “persuaded” to betray their country.

Let’s Make a Suicide Bomber

…or “lone wolf” shooter. The way that the Bush and Obama administrations did/do it. Similat to he way NATO did when it took control of pretty much every terrorist  organization after WWII.

Though you might find similar techniques used by FBI informants in their sting operations for money, that typically–so far as we know thus far–requires the direct involvement of the informant as charismatic “cult leader.” What I’m referring to here is a “hands off” approach in which the target is mostly unaware of human involvement in his or her decision-making process.

The thing you have to do, perhaps after an initial period of using both positive and negative PSYOPs and other reinforcement/punishment methods {see, for example, item 11 of the 1955 draft MKULTRA memo linked at top}, is to concentrate solely on negative punishment. This is required so that the covert organization can get the target to the point that he or she buys into the notion that living is no longer worth the effort and yet angry and frustrated enough to take it out on whichever group, organization, or individual{s} the PSYOPs and general base psychology of the individual deems appropriate in their modified behavioral state.

In essence, the operation moves from an initial Operant Conditioning status {a “loosening up” and isolation phase} to an ABA one {the process of altering world view to an entirely negative one}.

One example may be Dylann Roof’s problems with his love life {see also David Attias and Elliot Rodger}. We can easily assume or accept that he was awkward and had social issues related to dealing with the opposite sex and therefore lost a potential girlfriend who happened to wind up with an African American. However, even if partially true, this is not an either/or situation. It is quite possible that part of it occurred naturally and the PSYOPs team capitalized on it, enhanced it, made certain that Roof was unable to think of much else for extended periods of time. Looking for a method of coping with potential psychological harassment techniques, he may also have been steered toward hate groups that openly, and news outlets that espouse, race-based hatred.

There is a double-standard applied to young people, as there often is to the poor, especially African-Americans. In the latter case, poor neighborhoods are bombarded with advertising and mass media indicating that everyone should want X, Y, and Z in order to have a “normal” life. At the same time, the means to achieve such a life are denied, often in absurdly shallow and cruel ways. So it is with youth and the incessant need to have “bae.” Our opportunistic overlords pay attention to these things and use our desire to be viewed as productive members of society worthy of being loved to their benefit.

In a similar manner to how the APA reverse engineered SERE…

…it seems quite probable that they altered conditioning designed to decrease unwanted behavior in patients to increasing it in targets of the intelligence community of the United States of America. I can see no other reason for consistent “punishment” type ops apart from driving an individual to a suicidal/homicidal state. Naturally, because we are talking about black ops, the events that occur on the surface must appear to have other causation, is, naturally occurring, online radicalization, “bad luck,” consequences of drug addiction and/or mental illness, etc. The clever liar, and this is perhaps the one thing the US need never worry about running short of, knows how to spin such stories and utilize narratives that we are already familiar with from mass media and to disguise what is not in reality the actions of an individual but rather the machinations of a political and largely for-profit/privatized extension of the military industrial complex.

If we are ever to wrest control of our lives away from warhawks and selfish privateers, we must first understand their methods and motivations. Corporate sociopathy combined with corruption of public officials has lead us to this point; only an open and courageous examination can restore sanity.

The APA has more shame yet to be revealed. History will show that this is close to what transpired. It is only a matter of time.

It should also be noted that political operatives can also be manipulated similarly and the two major political parties engage in similar black bag operations. Creating angry individuals who are radically loyal to one party or the other can be accomplished similarly.
