Revelations

You may have already read the latest Intercept piece by Glenn Greenwald. In case you haven’t:

Firstlook/The Intercept, “Hacking Online Polls and Other Ways British Spies Seek to Control the Internet,” Glenn Greenwald, 14 July 2014:

firstlook.org/theintercept/2014/07/14/manipulating-online-polls-ways-british-spies-seek-control-internet/

You might note a few things. First, some of these tools line up rather well with the Department of Defense’s MINERVA mass manipulation programs:

• “Change outcome of online polls” (UNDERPASS)

• “Mass delivery of email messaging to support an Information Operations campaign” (BADGER) and “mass delivery of SMS messages to support an Information Operations campaign” (WARPARTH)

• “Disruption of video-based websites hosting extremist content through concerted target discovery and content removal.” (SILVERLORD)

• “Ability to artificially increase traffic to a website” (GATEWAY) and “ability to inflate page views on websites” (SLIPSTREAM)

• “Amplification of a given message, normally video, on popular multimedia websites (Youtube)” (GESTATOR)

• “Targeted Denial Of Service against Web Servers” (PREDATORS FACE) and “Distributed denial of service using P2P. Built by ICTR, deployed by JTRIG” (ROLLING THUNDER)

All directed at altering perception of opinions and control of information for basically the same thing.

Then there’s the “This Time It’s Personal” portions:

• “Active skype capability. Provision of real time call records (SkypeOut and SkypetoSkype) and bidirectional instant messaging. Also contact lists.” (MINIATURE HERO)

• “A tool that will permanently disable a target’s account on their computer” (ANGRY PIRATE)

That sounds familiar. 6 December 2009:

20091206 Adsense Rejection02

The language in question was of course English. Guessing they were referring to Farsi, since my Apple account default language was switched to that and someone texting my pickpocketed phone got a response in that language.

Then, just before the ex getting married, the 9-1-1 call, the leaving Minneapolis:

20111004_Eli Schneider

An email BCCing me from a fictional character I made up who then proceeded to create a Skype account:

20111005_Skype_eli.schneider2_b

And a second one:

20111005_Skype_eli.schneider5_c

Resulting in the email address getting its password changed and me losing access to it:

WWTFFMAIL Hack01

The point being, 1st Amendment just doesn’t mean squat here. Conspiracy Against Rights plus absolutely unhelpful DoJ = justice delayed, justice denied, plus heaps and heaps of injustice thrown in to remind you just in case your brain started telling you it was an accident or misunderstanding.

Not exactly the same method, but I’ve lost access to email accounts due to loss of phones, whether that be the pickpocketing before the Squidgate trial or the mugging before the Jeremy Hammond sentencing hearing. The latest similar issue is my reduced Twitter effectiveness due to a sudden loss of balance while standing next to a swimming pool just a few days ago.

But here’s my favorite for a number of reasons. One, they have been using this to convince politicians that their constituencies hold opinions other than the ones that they hold. How do I know? I wrote about this:

• “Ability to spoof any email address and send email under that identity” (CHANGELING)

in Wicked Game last year.

If you’re still so brainwashed as to think this is about radical Islam, the Russians or the Chinese, I suggest you also take a gander at what 32-year NSA veteran William Binney had to say on the subject. Really, you can just read the headline because in this case they didn’t pull punches and bury the lede.

The Guardian, “The ultimate goal of the NSA is total population control: At least 80% of all audio calls, not just metadata, are recorded and stored in the US, says whistleblower William Binney – that’s a ‘totalitarian mentality’,” Antony Loewenstein, 10 July 2014:

theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/jul/11/the-ultimate-goal-of-the-nsa-is-total-population-control

Which I will add is exactly what all the rest of this stuff I’ve been talking about concerns with the exception of the self-dealing stuff. Speaking of which:

Common Dreams, “Members of Congress Declare ‘Immunity’ from Insider Trading Probe: House panel refuses to submit to SEC subpoenas,” Nadia Prupis, 7 July 2014:

commondreams.org/headline/2014/07/07-4

Which you will also find in Wicked Game. Recall that one of the things that extended the War in Vietnam was the fact that so many members of Congress were making money off of it. For example, some owned the ships that delivered ammunition.

Then recall that Eisenhower warned of this very thing occurring, that war had been so lucrative for a few that later, it follows, wars may be fought simply on the basis of making more money for those same groups of folks and their offspring.

Then came the days of COINTELPRO, MINARET, MKULTRA, etc. Not only was there rampant abuses of power for “going overboard on fear,” but there were members of Congress and people in the White House using intelligence agencies for their personal agendas.

Insider trading? NSA knows all, sees all, records all and, as Snowden proved, leaves it laying around for contractors to come grab and walk out with any time they please. Information for any use, from political hitlists, to swaying elections, to financial gain, to the bizarre cultish end-of-world-looney-tunes stuff. *

But is the lack of oversight in Congress due to the rapid growth? Or just that things are going so well on a personal basis with a massive Stasi state for a select few who have abandoned any desire to serve those who elected them? I think the latter. That’s the Deep State.

* This last, sadly, is not only true but coming your way very soon. We have all been of the opinion that it is impossible to be powerful, extremely wealthy, and completely fricking insane. Alas, this is not true. I have no advice apart from start seeing it. Not everyone is rational and sane, therefore you can’t really emulate their thinking being so.

Those Times I Kicked the CIA’s Ass

Newcomers, possibly even longtime readers, may wonder at times why I write what I write here, why have I come to some of the conclusions to which I have come, and why I fully believe that if people don’t bone up on the history of the CIA and others within the IC and the private sector that operates symbiotically with it, there is no point in attempting to alter anything that really matters.

It was my plan to make this a longer post, but instead I’ll just make a couple of quick links before diving in to what the title of this post is really about. It’s long enough.

Friedman of Information

Players only love you when they’re playing

Before I get started, let me assure you that all parties involved know this stuff exists, know it works, and some of them even know who’s doing it to US citizens on US soil. About the kindest thing you can say about Secret Service in this context is, they probably aren’t the ones attempting to drive people crazy enough to, for example, shoot at the White House. But then more perverse things have happened and government rarely seems to act in what Joe Citizen thinks an intuitive manner.

Let’s also recall that DIA has been the subject of several news reports regarding targeting activist groups. We also know that various private NATSEC companies who work for the government also engage in that practice for other clients and, due to privilege not only go uninvestigated but those who come close to discovering the truth of that wind up in prison at the government’s behest. The Deep State truly is a melding of the two entity types. And of course the CIA and FBI do it. Goes without saying, needs no explanation. And as you’ll see, INSCOM, that’s Army intelligence, former employer of Chelsea Manning–who had her own issues before Cablegate–supplied the 1998 document that Friedman FOIA’d for. I’ll throw in NSA just for being so damn nosy and supplying their contractors with cash and everyone with data. Also-too, the two major political parties. Can’t leave those f—ers out, can we?

In essence, because it cannot be said often enough, these people are more about the fun cruelty provides for their multiple mental disorders and the financial benefits of screwing the 99%.

Additionally, you may want to review the Navy’s old round up of microwave bioeffects. The one Friedman obtained via FOIA is more specific but also limited to intended applications. For example, hair loss/brittleness and sparking fillings are not mentioned. Neither is the paranoia it can induce by disrupting brain functions. However, the disruption of bodily functions is, and how that leads to various health problems, which does essentially make it “murder lite” in that it doesn’t kill immediately, merely shortens your life. And how can you sue, even if you could still afford to after being so f—ed by these craven cowards that you can no longer work? This is the center, the crux of why the United States of America is a sham. This is how it treats it’s “dissidents,” people it just as soon weren’t around any longer.

Well, how it treats the ones it doesn’t obliterate.

Donald Friedman walked into a federal offices angry and likely a bit deranged. He was armed…with a letter. It was somewhat threatening, so, of course this offense wound him up at the mercy of the Attorney General. And woe unto him for that because his last name isn’t Corp or Inc.

On January 30, 2003, Donald Friedman walked into an FBI field office with a two-page letter signed by him and addressed to Special Agent Jack Murmylo of the United States Secret Service. Friedman’s letter states, in part:

“Agents of the U.S. Secret Service, as you already know, have been committing very serious crimes against me and other members of my family for a very long time, and I’m taking more direct action to prevent it from continuing.”

“I am going to get an admissible confession from at least one of your agents one way or the other, and if I don’t get what I am demanding from you today, I will use the method of torture described in the attached pages to obtain that confession and to punish the agent for his or her involvement in the illegal acts that your agents have perpetrated against me and my family.”

He claimed, as thousands of Americans do, and by the way people all over the planet, that he and his family were under attack via some kind of electronic weapons. For some reason, he decided it was a Secret Service agent or agents responsible.

The district court then held a competency hearing at which Friedman testified, inter alia, that the back of a pair of his shoes were vaporized by an electromagnetic weapon fired at his feet in 2001. Friedman presented the shoes in question to the district court, but it appeared to the court that the heel of the shoe had simply worn out due to ordinary use.

Precisely what happens to your judgment when you’ve been zapped or drugged by the intelligence community. The whole point is to render the target incapable of being taken seriously so that the torture can continue while everyone around the target behaves as though it is all in their head. Essentially, the Martha Mitchell effect.

Or even possible that they actually did use something akin to the research covered in MKULTRA subproject #143, which included various studies on sabotaging oil and petroleum products.

A portion of the harassment involves “magic tricks” that the target spends a lot of time–using an already severely disrupted brain–trying to figure out. As I noted, one day I received a perfect oval blister on one leg and was unsure if a laser or chemical spray had been used.

Convincing a judge that anyone would even bother to destroy shoes or similar, especially when you’ve been put through the grinder and become so confused that even you may not know why you were targeted any more, assuming you ever did, is the hard part. Secrecy begets corruption, corruption destroys the judicial system. As to why Friedman, I don’t know. Haven’t spoken to him or read his personal account.

Is this morally superior to shooting them in the back of the head and leaving them in a ditch? That at least has the virtue of not being cruel and unusual and being relatively merciful. But it’s not about mercy when it comes to the military-congressional-industrial-spook-retirement-fund complex. We only pretend we’re better than totalitarians. When this power is abused, it is not to protect anything but high crimes.

The case against Friedman:

FindLaw, “United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit: UNITED STATES of America, Plaintiff-Appellee, v. Donald FRIEDMAN, Defendant-Appellant, No. 03-10422,” 6 May 2004:

caselaw.findlaw.com/us-9th-circuit/1122537.html

He didn’t give up, however, and managed to get a FOIA response from the Army two and a half years later:

INSCOM, “Bioeffects of Selected Non-Lethal Weapons, declassified 6 December 2006,” cover letter: Susan J. Butterfield, 13 December 2006/attached document: various sources, 17 February 1998:

freedomfchs.com/pdfs/bioeffectsofsnlwpns.pdf

2014-06-24-20-57-22-1

This in turn lead to some articles on the subject and gaining confirmation that, yes the INSCOM document was genuine. Sierra Nevada Corp.’s/WaveBand’s MEDUSA gets a mention as well:

The New Scientist, “US Army toyed with telepathic ray gun,” David Hambling, 21 March 2008:

newscientist.com/article/dn13513-us-army-toyed-with-telepathic-ray-gun.html

Steve Wright, a security expert at Leeds Metropolitan University, UK, warns that the technologies described could be used for torture. In 1998 the European Parliament passed a motion banning potentially dangerous incapacitating technologies that interfere with the human brain.

WIRED, “‘Telepathic Ray Guns’ and Vaporized Shoes: The Truth is Weirder Than You Think,” David Hambling, 24 March 2008:

wired.com/2008/03/shoe-zapping-ra/

WIRED, “Secret Directed-Energy Tech Protecting the President? (Updated),” David Hambling, 14 November 2008:

wired.com/2008/11/presidents-secr/

The story even made an appearance on eHow:

eHow, “Firearms Used by Presidential Bodyguards, p.4: High Tech Weapons of the Secret Service,” Ocean Malandra:

ehow.com/list_7446617_firearms-used-presidential-bodyguards.html#page=4

But Friedman is still in pursuit of what Secret Service was asked to provide. What’s interesting is whether or not the FOIA changes today * could have any impact on his case. The Secret Service delayed in part because it had to check with other government entities due to the sensitivity of energy weapons:

Plaintiff’s FOIA request is for document [sic] concerning directed energy technology that is very sensitive. Some of this documents [sic] pertain to research conducted by divisions within defendant agency that is used to carry out its mandate to protect very high government officials. In fact, in one case, the documents… could not be mailed but had to be hand carried interstate.

Government Printing Office, “UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, DONALD M. FRIEDMAN v. U.S. SECRET SERVICE,” 24 November 2008 and 15 February 2013:

gpo.gov/fdsys/granule/USCOURTS-dcd-1_06-cv-02125/USCOURTS-dcd-1_06-cv-02125-1/content-detail.html

I leave you with a quote from one of the WIRED articles…:

It’s very easy to poke fun at people like Friedman. On the other hand, it does show that if a nonlethal device ever was developed which could cause symptoms associated with madness, it would be completely deniable. The device would completely destroy the target’s credibility, neatly ensuring it remained covert. The military utility would be low, but it might be very hand for some three-letter agencies.

…and that pesky draft MKULTRA memo:

5 May 1955

A portion of the Research and Development Program of TSS/Chemical Division is devoted to the discovery of the following materials and methods:

1. Substances which will promote illogical thinking and impulsiveness to the point where the recipient would be discredited in public.

5. Materials which will produce the signs and symptoms of recognized diseases in a reversible way so that they may be used for malingering, etc.

9. Physical methods of producing shock and confusion over extended periods of time and capable of surreptitious use.

The Future is Now

Or, “Welcome to my world. It’s your world, too.”

Normally, I save the suckerpunch for the end of the post in an attempt to leave the reader reeling from the final slap in the hopes of some sort of awakening from zombielike stupor. In this case, I’m leading with it choosing rather to pummel after the first dizzying blow with the lesser jab backup material gathered over recent days mostly via the Twitters.

So many links after the fold.

Giorgio is No Pal of Mine

Independent UK, “Untrue statements’ anger over work to make H5N1 bird-flu virus MORE dangerous to humans: Coalition of leading scientists claim ferret experiments could lead to a pandemic,” Steve Connor, 20 December 2013:

independent.co.uk/news/science/untrue-statements-anger-over-work-to-make-h5n1-birdflu-virus-more-dangerous-to-humans-9018666.html

There’s a lot of use of double negatives in the article. This is largely, I think, to avoid stating the truth or, should some editors IMO still be in denial as to the state of world affairs, not to falsely accuse the European Society of Virology and its president Giorgio Pal of outright lying.

Let me simplify it. H5N1 is a very deadly flu virus but with a very poor transmission rate. What these people are doing is purposely running it through multiple generations so that they can get a version that is easily transmitted to humans. In other words, a virus capable of killing hundreds of millions, maybe more. They’re making a bioweapon.

I’ll just insert some memes here. Population reduction. NATO. Europe. GLADIO.

Why do this? Good question. After all, “they” aren’t going to be immune themselves, right? The world’s elite could die of it as well.

Let’s take a closer look at a few things that have transpired since 9/11. Let’s start with the grounding of all planes. The “monkey to the airport” scenario isn’t much good if the plane isn’t allowed to land, is it? Didn’t take long to make happen either (well, except for those planes destined for Saudi Arabia, see below).

But what about all those borders? You can’t be serious.

Oh, can’t I? This has been the one thing, the Customs and Border Protection escalation, that seems to have been agreed upon by people of all stripes with perhaps the exception of some libertarians. Even the Tea Party has pretty much always been up in arms about the “took’r’jobs” situation and the drug cartel problems. The former typically involves jobs the average American doesn’t want to do and is actually a symptom of the highest productivity in history; if 60 people do the work of 100, that still works if you deport half and 30 do the work of 50. The latter of course involves the Central Intelligence Agency running contrary to the function of the DEA in order to fund domestic and foreign operations. But the dual function of keeping flu infected “zombies” out, well DoD and CIA dominated Hollywood have prepared us all for that eventuality, and thank you Homeland Security for keeping out all those sick people, just as Jesus taught us.

The last thing, of course, you can bet that there will be excellent health care to deal with any outbreaks in country.

For the 1%. The rest of you will have drones, detention centers, and–why not?–flamethrower squadrons to make sure it doesn’t spread. Though that last will likely only happen until we have napalm-carrying drones.

Incredible time to be alive isn’t it? Front row seats, no longer any reason to need CNN to bring you images of the destruction you financed and backed all these years because it felt so damn good being so important that a group of Saudi Arabia and CIA backed radicals attacked some buildings in a city most of the Red States never gave a damn about anyway. Now you’ll get to see it in 3D, up close. With surround sound. You’ll even feel the heat. For a short while anyway.

Congratulations. You are at least important enough to be mass murdered by your own corporate-controlled government in order for them to save their own sorry asses and to keep them in the life style in which they have become accustomed.

BBD – Squidgate Note

From Washington’s Blog, “Proof that the Government Spies On ALL AMERICANS”, August 10, 2013:

washingtonsblog.com/2013/08/the-most-persuasive-evidence-that-the-government-spies-on-all-americans.html

A former federal agent in the northeastern United States who received such tips from SOD described the process. “You’d be told only, ‘Be at a certain truck stop at a certain time and look for a certain vehicle.’ And so we’d alert the state police to find an excuse to stop that vehicle, and then have a drug dog search it,” the agent said.

After an arrest was made, agents then pretended that their investigation began with the traffic stop, not with the SOD tip, the former agent said. The training document reviewed by Reuters refers to this process as “parallel construction.”

Context: they are talking about DEA faking drug busts from surveillance tips as random traffic stops.

But, as we have to do where the impenetrable iron curtain of secrecy surrounding the US government’s surreptitious suspension of the Constitution, the First Amendment, we can extrapolate.

“DEA’s SOD is doing this for their purposes. Let’s do the same for ours [clamping down on publicity of not even classified mind control technologies].”

And so they sabotage Watts’ rental cars twice and then make sure that the same day that the Open Government Directive is released, he gets stopped with an exit search. V2K does the rest including pepperspray.

Not only possible, but probable.
