Storified

For the time being, only self-hosted and WordPress VIPs can embed storifies, a multimedia tool that is often used to show a series of posts and/or tweets.

Here’s a typical twitter exchange for me, though I note fewer and fewer people are willing to engage me at all. Refreshing when they do.

storify.com/KanysLupin/insistence-is-futile

I bothered to do this because I created a Storify account, had considered storifying this, but decided to sit it out. This fellow did it for us, though:

As you can see, we already do have other organizations that we helped to create or at least watered and added fertilizer. The Defense and NATSEC industries thrive on problems and their immense influence and power results in them getting their way as well as a mainstream media that not only sucks up to them…

All that’s missing, and really it isn’t, are religious institutions. Revelations

You may have already read the latest Intercept piece by Glenn Greenwald. In case you haven’t:

Firstlook/The Intercept, “Hacking Online Polls and Other Ways British Spies Seek to Control the Internet,” Glenn Greenwald, 14 July 2014:

firstlook.org/theintercept/2014/07/14/manipulating-online-polls-ways-british-spies-seek-control-internet/

You might note a few things. First, some of these tools line up rather well with the Department of Defense’s MINERVA mass manipulation programs:

• “Change outcome of online polls” (UNDERPASS)

• “Mass delivery of email messaging to support an Information Operations campaign” (BADGER) and “mass delivery of SMS messages to support an Information Operations campaign” (WARPARTH)

• “Disruption of video-based websites hosting extremist content through concerted target discovery and content removal.” (SILVERLORD)

• “Ability to artificially increase traffic to a website” (GATEWAY) and “ability to inflate page views on websites” (SLIPSTREAM)

• “Amplification of a given message, normally video, on popular multimedia websites (Youtube)” (GESTATOR)

• “Targeted Denial Of Service against Web Servers” (PREDATORS FACE) and “Distributed denial of service using P2P. Built by ICTR, deployed by JTRIG” (ROLLING THUNDER)

All directed at altering perception of opinions and control of information for basically the same thing.

Then there’s the “This Time It’s Personal” portions:

• “Active skype capability. Provision of real time call records (SkypeOut and SkypetoSkype) and bidirectional instant messaging. Also contact lists.” (MINIATURE HERO)

• “A tool that will permanently disable a target’s account on their computer” (ANGRY PIRATE)

That sounds familiar. 6 December 2009:

20091206 Adsense Rejection02

The language in question was of course English. Guessing they were referring to Farsi, since my Apple account default language was switched to that and someone texting my pickpocketed phone got a response in that language.

Then, just before the ex getting married, the 9-1-1 call, the leaving Minneapolis:

20111004_Eli Schneider

An email BCCing me from a fictional character I made up who then proceeded to create a Skype account:

20111005_Skype_eli.schneider2_b

And a second one:

20111005_Skype_eli.schneider5_c

Resulting in the email address getting its password changed and me losing access to it:

WWTFFMAIL Hack01

The point being, 1st Amendment just doesn’t mean squat here. Conspiracy Against Rights plus absolutely unhelpful DoJ = justice delayed, justice denied, plus heaps and heaps of injustice thrown in to remind you just in case your brain started telling you it was an accident or misunderstanding.

Not exactly the same method, but I’ve lost access to email accounts due to loss of phones, whether that be the pickpocketing before the Squidgate trial or the mugging before the Jeremy Hammond sentencing hearing. The latest similar issue is my reduced Twitter effectiveness due to a sudden loss of balance while standing next to a swimming pool just a few days ago.

But here’s my favorite for a number of reasons. One, they have been using this to convince politicians that their constituencies hold opinions other than the ones that they hold. How do I know? I wrote about this:

• “Ability to spoof any email address and send email under that identity” (CHANGELING)

in Wicked Game last year.

If you’re still so brainwashed as to think this is about radical Islam, the Russians or the Chinese, I suggest you also take a gander at what 32-year NSA veteran William Binney had to say on the subject. Really, you can just read the headline because in this case they didn’t pull punches and bury the lede.

The Guardian, “The ultimate goal of the NSA is total population control: At least 80% of all audio calls, not just metadata, are recorded and stored in the US, says whistleblower William Binney – that’s a ‘totalitarian mentality’,” Antony Loewenstein, 10 July 2014:

theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/jul/11/the-ultimate-goal-of-the-nsa-is-total-population-control

Which I will add is exactly what all the rest of this stuff I’ve been talking about concerns with the exception of the self-dealing stuff. Speaking of which:

Common Dreams, “Members of Congress Declare ‘Immunity’ from Insider Trading Probe: House panel refuses to submit to SEC subpoenas,” Nadia Prupis, 7 July 2014:

commondreams.org/headline/2014/07/07-4

Which you will also find in Wicked Game. Recall that one of the things that extended the War in Vietnam was the fact that so many members of Congress were making money off of it. For example, some owned the ships that delivered ammunition.

Then recall that Eisenhower warned of this very thing occurring, that war had been so lucrative for a few that later, it follows, wars may be fought simply on the basis of making more money for those same groups of folks and their offspring.

Then came the days of COINTELPRO, MINARET, MKULTRA, etc. Not only was there rampant abuses of power for “going overboard on fear,” but there were members of Congress and people in the White House using intelligence agencies for their personal agendas.

Insider trading? NSA knows all, sees all, records all and, as Snowden proved, leaves it laying around for contractors to come grab and walk out with any time they please. Information for any use, from political hitlists, to swaying elections, to financial gain, to the bizarre cultish end-of-world-looney-tunes stuff. *

But is the lack of oversight in Congress due to the rapid growth? Or just that things are going so well on a personal basis with a massive Stasi state for a select few who have abandoned any desire to serve those who elected them? I think the latter. That’s the Deep State.

* This last, sadly, is not only true but coming your way very soon. We have all been of the opinion that it is impossible to be powerful, extremely wealthy, and completely fricking insane. Alas, this is not true. I have no advice apart from start seeing it. Not everyone is rational and sane, therefore you can’t really emulate their thinking being so.

BBD – Et tu, Silicon Valley?

New bits of evidence that contradict, for example, Google’s insistence that it has been a government accessory to mass surveillance by Jason Leopold via FOIA.

Side note / off-topic reminder: Jason also worked on the CIA and Navy “pharmacological waterboarding” story related to dosing Gitmo detainees with five times the normal dosage of the drug mefloquine. The antimalarial drug, also known as Lariam, can cause schizophreniclike symptoms even at normal dosage. The Navy declassified portions of their Inspector General report on it. The CIA still has not.

His latest on NSA and Silicon Valley, in this case focused on Google:

Disclosures by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden about the agency’s vast capability for spying on Americans’ electronic communications prompted a number of tech executives whose firms cooperated with the government to insist they had done so only when compelled by a court of law.

But Al Jazeera has obtained two sets of email communications dating from a year before Snowden became a household name that suggest not all cooperation was under pressure.

The NSA “has no business helping Google secure its facilities from the Chinese and at the same time hacking in through the back doors and tapping the fiber connections between Google base centers,” Cardozo said. “The fact that it’s the same agency doing both of those things is in obvious contradiction and ridiculous.” He recommended dividing offensive and defensive functions between two agencies.

AJAM, “EXCLUSIVE: Emails Reveal Close GOOGLE Relationship with NSA,” Jason Leopold, 6 May 2014:

america.aljazeera.com/articles/2014/5/6/nsa-chief-google.html

There’s more at the link. For example, seems NSA did try to keep them close under guise of fixing security holes while actually looking for ones to exploit.

More reminders, this time of the personal Black Boots Diaries variety.

Before I do that, let me say that I expect journalists like Leopold would prefer people like me don’t in any way connect their stories to what I have to say. I completely understand that. They don’t want to be associated with what they consider to be “conspiracy theory.” They have a reputation to protect and I don’t, insofar as I have truth to tell and it may not align with the worldview of many. Certainly not with the ones that the Deep State projects, provides for our amusement and detriment. Even if the US government was merely attempting to make things seem worse than they are, they still trampled my rights, repeatedly and without the slightest bit of remorse or second thought about doing so. Even if {not the case, but if you find it easier to believe} they just drugged me and/or zapped me in the head with microwaves and I hallucinated 90% of it. The scandal is as much about that they did these things at all, not just what they did and how.

This is what happened.

First, my longterm ex worked at Google for several years. In January of 2010, mere weeks after Squidgate began and my friend Kate Conway was still in the hospital in a coma after her condo building mere blocks from ours burnt to the ground, he came home one evening and could barely move. He was so exhausted, emotionally it seemed, he could hardly even speak. His energy was extremely low.

Unsure if I should call an ambulance, I contacted a friend and he suggested not doing so unless absolutely necessary. The NYC system does at times and in some ways resemble the nightmare that libertarians and conservatives describe, that is “too much government.” Once you are in the New York mental health system, he said, it takes almost an act of God to get out of it.

I ran some homemade remedies designed to improve those natural “up” brain chemicals. I’ve covered this part many times before so those details aren’t important. What is is that I now had to consider that a potential murder attempt. Had he been drugged? This was months before the Washington Post did their expose on Top Secret America revealing that Google was one of nearly 2,000 subcontractors to the US intelligence community, most of them working for NSA. Between this and the fire as well as not at all feeling my old self and the near constant barrage of psychological harassment and bizarre events it would take years to explain, some still not explainable but I trust the trend, it just seemed as though someone I loved was in danger, somehow because of me.

This was not the first nor the last wedge they drove between us, but it was one of the most effective ones that I was on some level aware even then as clearly threatening, of human cause, and not resolvable by discussion.

They manipulated me out of the relationship and out of town.

Later in the year, he visited me in Minneapolis. This was our chance to try to resolve things and put it back together. Of course that didn’t happen. Though he was unaware of much except the very basics: something was very wrong and it related to the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival from two decades prior, he mentioned and was clearly a little bothered by the deaths of a few Google employees and one involving an Irish national who was knifed to death the day of his interview in California. One other was a boating accident on Long Island. Don’t recall details of the third and/or fourth.

The visit did not end as I’d hoped. I recall one phone call a few months before when it seemed to me he wasn’t hearing what I was saying at all. During that conversation, a stranger, a woman, walked by and mocked me, repeated what I was saying and laughed to her companion. This was one of the many, many examples of what I mean when I say that our intelligence community doesn’t care at all about people, the 99%. I saw spook after spook doing really cruel and awful things, and some of those people could not have been in the business very long due to being so young.

Like ‘Janus,’ for example. I still can’t wrap my head around why someone would choose a career destroying the lives of others. I just can’t. Sociopath? Seems likely. Note that I would still back him if he blew the whistle, but that seems unlikely. More likely, there’s still more shock and pain coming my way. Just don’t know what’s taking them so long to get around to it.

I can understand why the government, in collusion with oligarchs and special business interests would use such people though. The Deep State has set fire to this place, and are going to sit back and watch us tear each other apart. It’s in every indicator. Our power brokers want civil war and they are going to get it through, in part, the combination of viciousness and naivete of America’s youth that they have brought to bear.

That’s what happened. All I can do is relate it and hope that maybe someone, who perhaps cannot feel or only feels anger, will blow the whistle. Does it get more f—ed than that?

Empty Wheel, NSA Break-Ins and Why I’m Blogging About It

Added an excellent site to the blogroll list at right:

emptywheel.net

A recent post discusses the ins and outs of the recent revelations regarding NSA’s “break-ins” at Yahoo and Google (what happened to Apple and others? Was fairly certain they were also on the “direct server access” list?).

The analysis is good based on the facts we’ve been given. I don’t have issue with it at all and I recommend Marcy’s site along with Sibel Edmond’s (especially for understanding what’s happening globally–don’t know where else you can get such complex issues explained so simply, quickly, with an understanding of the players and their real objectives) and History Commons for the news as it was reported at the time it happened and what came later as well as the most comprehensive 9/11 timeline there is. (They probably need some help adding in the criminal activities of many Democrats, but that’s so difficult to separate from disinfo due to two or three issues to begin with.)

Side note, About page mentions the Duke Cunningham scandal. That one is a favorite of mine for several reasons, some merely due to poetic memes.

Right. Marcy is doing good journalistic work. Not knocking it. Love it. The way most things are done and made acceptable as fact by reasonable people (we do still have those, correct?).

My issues are with the story in general. Similar to focusing on Angela Merkel’s precious cellphone being tapped distracts from the millions of private citizens it is done to, focusing on NSA “breaking in” to Google servers distracts from the big picture reality.

Google regularly hands over data to NSA. The break-in story, to the busy American who doesn’t have time to seek the details of everything that is happening, will assume that only NSA is to blame here and ignore corporate America’s role in subjugating American citizens. Google is a NSA subcontractor. Anyone who thinks a company like that doesn’t also have its share of CIA agents doesn’t understand how the intelligence community operates. Google was and likely still is a partner in aiding the government spy on US and foreign citizens.

Where I was attempting to go with my line of questioning on Twitter was, “What is the value of this ‘stolen’ data over that obtained through the ‘legal’ channels provided by the FISA court already?” I was doing this in order to disprove my hypothesis that, in addition to this appearing to be the government attempting to protect Google’s reputation, so that we will continue to use them and their very attractive free services, that maybe real intelligence operations are not planned, approved, and carried out on Post-It™ notes:

It’s a different perspective. It is more skeptical in that it examines the “metaquestions” like where the information came from, why we might be focusing on it, and why that might be a problem. It looks at the known goals of the players, their psychology, likely adaptations of historical deceptions, and asks if there is an alternate explanation as to why this is before us.

A side note. It very damn well may be that Google resisted and simply had no choice. I don’t doubt that as a possibility.

In 2010, when my ex-partner (who worked at Google at the time) came to visit me in Minneapolis, he discussed a couple of accidents (one was a sailing accident) involving Google employees. The other was I think in California. Then there was, close on the heels of the boat death, the stabbing death of an Irish national who had just interviewed with Google earlier in the day.

He of course was merely making conversation, meant nothing sinister at all by relating that.

That happens to me all the time.

After he went back to New York, I looked it up. Some other blogger had already found those deaths and several previous to 2010, had done the statistics and found that the Google employee death rate was higher than that of the Canadian Army.

Since then, I’ve been unable to “google” that site. One of many things I read, I apparently did not bookmark it. Further searching for the separate articles on those deaths (much like how the articles on the December 2009 fire disappeared) likewise came up with nothing.

You may think you’re cynical about what I say, write. If so, I may think you’re not cynical or skeptical enough of power.

A person in my situation cannot rely on things like FOIA (can’t afford it and even that system is regularly thwarted in various ways, see Jason Leopold and TruthOut on the topic) nor the Inspectors General (as long as they can feed the RUMINT machine they can label me a person of interest and state essentially that I don’t have rights). Add to that the indicators (no credit rating, treated like on burn notice which is often less kind than TV might make you think) and choices become very limited.

This is survival for me. Waiting for power to admit it’s worst dirty deeds all on its own? Takes fifty years, sometimes longer.

The worse they behave the less likely it will be exposed because politicians fear what the reaction will be to the really, really bad stuff (think Michael Hastings and rape with broken bottles and then tell me why we’re so up in arms over PRISM in the first place when there is so much worse going on. Not all of it is overseas nor directed strictly towards foreign intelligence and the best interests of American citizens).

Feinstein and others don’t want to know what they do. Neither does the President. Knowing makes them accessories to illegal activities. As long as the cash flows, the machine will ignore the cries of the abused. There’s no advantage in helping people as long as you can just appear to be doing so, is the way power works and therefore subsequently the world.

Big money. Big lies.

Google, Microsoft Sue US Govt

Cosmetic b.s. after f—ing the American people and getting exposed for it. You and I can’t sue the Feds for damages, but a-holes who help them drown the First Amendment can for data releases after being paid to do spy on the rest us:

And, irony, co-founder Sergei Brin’s personal life is in the news. Closest thing to justice the American people will ever see. Well, that and turnabout Obama going down as the President who surrendered to fascism, but that’ll just be fodder for umpteen books in the future.

Google and the S-Bag

(Who’s got the fan?)

This is pretty incredible:

thestringer.com.au/google-and-the-nsa-whos-holding-the-shit-bag-now/

Google employees were doing things overseas that CIA could not. It got ugly. By Julian Assange.

I ran across a blogger a couple of years ago who was tracking Google employee deaths. Besides that (what I perceived as) my ex’s near suicidal episode in January of 2010, he later told me about a boating accident death in New York and a man who was knifed to death in San Francisco just after interviewing. He didn’t think anything of it, of course, other than bad luck, but it stuck in my mind. That would have been later in ’10, I think.

Is that how CIA and DoD maintain discipline among contractors who know about the surveillance abuse and worse? Looks like it to me. Doesn’t surprise me at all. Fits with my Booz Allen experiences snugly.

If the glove doth fit, you must admit.

Living Hell

There are many reasons not to post things like this. For one, those responsible may assume they have succeeded at least in part with what they were attempting to do. Second, they may try to adjust in order to improve their approach. Third, this is a learning process for them as well, and they can, have and will apply it to torture other people.

I am choosing to do so in the hopes that other TIs will understand better what is being done to them.

I suppose I should throw in that, since I added DIA (and DARPA) to the direct list of suspects, things have taken a darker turn. This is pure speculation, I could have it backwards or be completely wrong about which specifically was responsible for what, but it seems as though, if the latest round of remote torture is the work of DIA, they are even more…what is the word? I hate to use ‘evil’…it sounds so cartoonish. But then, as I was saying elsewhere in a different context, humans devoid of compassion, empathy, guilt and decency are two-dimensional. There is no justification for any of what has been done to me and other TIs.

Speaking of whom, I should probably point out again that yet another probable goal is simply training field operatives. See Robert Baer’s first book about his CIA training. Part of it was he and the rest of his class going live on the citizens of Washington, DC, if I remember correctly. One test was getting oneself into an apartment. This could be accomplished by any means I assume but the expected method was talking one’s way in.

Additionally, there was that convicted professional killer, “Iceman,” Richard Kuklinski. He was interviewed and discussed training others and trying out new methods. Often, a random individual was chosen. Police would never solve these kinds of killings because there was no personal motive, no connection between the killer and the deceased.

Extend that to the electronic harassment and behavioral modification methods. TIs are, in part, crash test dummies for training new Jar Heads who may eventually be deployed overseas. However, even if that is true, it does not mean that targets are not chosen for other reasons (discrediting someone deemed a threat to control and training at the same time…I know some of what I experienced in Brooklyn sure seemed that way, Anthony and Balding being a prime example). It also feeds into what I’ve been saying, slowly turning up the distrust, eating away at the fabric of civility and society which means mercenaries get more contracts to “keep the peace.” It’s all of that: increasing capabilities through training and research, profiting, and increasing power of those who control the tech and their financial allies.

That aside, I will relate last evening’s session of voice-to-skull or whatever means was employed…it may be something I haven’t even thought of yet, that has no hint of existing in any of the public record apart from–this is established fact–DARPA’s request of the private sector to create “synthetic telepathy.” That means primarily an electronic equivalent of what mankind has dreamed of in the supernatural for a long, long time.

Or it might be as I’ve already stated. The apparent ability to “hear” my silent thought replies might just be because they are “scripting” my responses. They say something, I think a response, and that response is simply them saying something again. It’s a magic trick. Maybe.

First, I was unable to sleep. I could tell I was being harassed. Involuntary thoughts, none particularly pleasant. They mostly centered around my dead long term relationship. As I’ve noted over and over again, as seems plain when they have ruined politicians or tried using sex or other means, it’s largely about probing for weaknesses. As is blatantly obvious, I am someone who does not easily give up on people, not even when they disappoint me over and over again, not even when their every action or inaction implies that they just wish I was dead.

For example, I was brainwashed (see item 12 from the MK-Ultra memo, dependence on someone else) in early January. And yet, I tried repeatedly to save my dying relationship. It wasn’t that I wanted to abandon the longterm one, it was when it became plain that it was going to go away (I had assumed foolishly temporarily) that it wasn’t as crushing. When I knew that they drugged (or just as likely hit him with electronic emotion manipulation while at work at Google) and he was close to what seemed to me to be the worst depression I had ever seen him in, it was suddenly in his best interests that I get away. Or so it seemed. He might be safer if I left.

They knew all of that. That was why they hit it from so many angles, so many different ways of intentionally destroying it and those other aspects of my life: long friendships, my job, my financial security, etc.

So, the past week has largely been about banging on that, sudden reminders about it, implied things that, sadly, are at least partially true. Here is someone who, apart from family, I have known longer than anyone else I’ve ever known, spent more time with, been more intimate with, had the longest relationship with.

He does not seem to care one iota. I don’t know how, even given this unbelievable situation, that he could have so completely abandoned me in every way. Even ‘mind control’ seems to take a break now and again.

In any case, he seems to be doing quite fine. While I certainly don’t wish bad things for him, it also comes across to me as incredibly insensitive. I could and would never have left him in the state he threw me out in. I just could not do that. At least not before trying everything I could think of to make it right.

But that’s the point. The reason they are hammering this specifically is what it implies on a larger scale. If someone I have known and been friends with for over two decades doesn’t give a s*** if I’m dead, how could anyone else?

Last night, when I thought at last I might drift off (a bit before the previous post went up), I was “told” to check my ex’s FB page. “I” thought, “I don’t care.” Meaning, he’s moved on, so am I, leave it alone. What choice is there? The reply, “You might!”

Now, some of you who have not been through your government thinking it should be able to murder anyone it damn well pleases might wonder why I did what they suggested. There were a couple of reasons, of course. Still some concern, had something horrible happened?

But the main reason is I knew (many, many times this has happened) they would continue to bother me about it until I did as suggested. Preferring sleep to being tortured, I did it.

The very top post in his feed was a photo of one of what once was our dogs with his nephew in my ex’s new house which he bought with his new husband.

Now, anyone with the capability can check exactly what and when I did it. I initially tried to get to his page via my mobile browser with no success. I checked my general newsfeed first to see if I could find it there because for some reason I could not find his page directly. V2K suggested using the app instead. I found it there.

This is what our government does. Why expose me to all of this tech and then try to kill me for it? Why involve me in the first place?

I don’t really have an answer. It seems clear there are at least two parties involved, one thinking it should be public, one desiring to use the tech for ill ends.

While I have a clearly biased view based on having been on the wrong end of it, I am not much happy with the other group either. I was and am clearly still being used. I don’t appreciate that even when the reasons might seem justified, for the “greater good.” it’s still f***ing slavery.

All of these people are in the way of any sort of life I could lead or could have lead. One effect of torture over time is referred to as “learned helplessness.” Essentially, it’s the victim being conditioned to be dependent on the torturers. I suppose that might be the reasoning in part for the occasional (more and more rare) helpful V2K suggestion. The longer this goes on, the lower the chances for any sort of recovery, the greater the chance of a successful coverup. They know this. The stress alone (which probably isn’t as high as you might expect) increases the chances of disease. They know this.

Even if I could work a fulltime job (and that’s a real question) I have zero f***ing indication that they wouldn’t just get me released from it again. It’s the same with various phony offers of unpaid things I would normally be interested in. This is the problem. One group is in the way of that and the other isn’t doing what it should to put an end to it, just half-assed pushing others in the way as proxies. I see no point in attempting to do those things when the people who should be putting an end to it refuse, are too afraid, are too dumb or ignorant, or just don’t care. It’s just an exercise in frustration, something else to watch be snatched away while cowards do nothing to end it.

Is that learned helplessness? I don’t know. It is obvious that it is true, they can take anything away and there is no opposition to speak of. Exposure is the only way to end covert harassment / organized stalking / intel community abuse of its own citizens. But here we sit with Joe Lieberman accusing the Obama administration of not being tough enough on whistleblowers and he is not running for re-election and therefore has nothing to lose by clamping down on the only issue that really matters: ending NK/Intra.

And that, ladies and germs, is why I come across as so angry. I am. Torture will do that.
